1)USE THE BOUNCE

-do not lean the handle toward the target at address

2)SET UP FOR SUCCESS

  -ball position forward of center

  -light grip pressure

  -slightly open clubface and stance

-dig feet into the sand (weight 60% left)

3)WAYS TO GUARANTEE INCONSISTENCY

  -tight grip pressure/arms/wrists

-ball position back in stance/ lean the handle forward

-short, low takeaway and/or a weight shift into the right leg on the backswing

4)GOOD SWING THOUGHTS

-splash the sand out of the bunker

-allow the clubhead to go up on the backswing/ a free wrist break

   -long, relaxed swing

   -finish facing the target

5)BEST DRILL

-draw 2 lines about a foot apart in the sand, make practice swings and check where your clubhead enters the sand.  If your clubhead enters the sand between the 2 lines, place a ball on the line closest to the target.  Make a swing , splash the sand out of the bunker and you've got it.

REMEMBER: NEVER hit the ball first!
